Hello, and welcome to the first post to the Fodor Photography blog!
Rather than following the obligatory first post format (by rambling on about nothing), I instead start with this little guy.
My interests/talents in photography are still fairly varied, but one of the areas I've been spending a lot of time in recently is pet photography.
I feel it was a natural evolution from my love of animals and my portrait work.
Nature is another important subject for me, in its many varied forms. I enjoy both narrow...
...and wide perspectives through macro and landscape work, respectively.
Additionally, I enjoy shooting portraits and events, when I'm not torturing my labradoodle, Mishka, by taking his picture every ten seconds.
For most of my life, photography has been an important creative outlet. It's only in the last few years, however, that it has evolved from passion to profession.
As a relative newcomer to the world of professional photography, I find myself pulled in many different directions when it comes to subjects and techniques. I enjoy the flexibility, as it allows me to experiment, and serve a diverse client base. Eventually I am sure I will begin to focus, though in what we shall see.
I hope you visit back, as I plan on showcasing the various shoots I have/will take part in, and perhaps a few dialogues on photographic skills and insights. Social links in the footer, and more about myself and my work in the header.
But before I close, one last picture of my dog.
For now. Sorry Mishka.
